Dear Presidents,
Dear Friends,

I am pleased to confirm that this year's meetings surrounding the FIA Annual General Assembly will be held from Monday 4 to Friday 8 December in Paris.

After a memorable week last year in Vienna, the FIA Family will gather together again this year near the FIA’s historical headquarters.

The majority of our meetings will take place in the function rooms of the Hotel InterContinental Le Grand, across from the Place de l’Opéra, where our last two Annual General Assemblies were similarly organised in Paris in 2013 and 2015.

This hotel together with others; is located close to the meetings venues, all of which are outlined on this event website.

I kindly invite you to register at your earliest convenience and I look forward to our meeting again in December for this important annual event on the FIA calendar.

Should any of your fellow members wish to attend the FIA Annual General Assembly in Paris, or for general enquiries, please contact our teams directly at the following e-mail address:

A separate and personal registration link will then be sent to them for their independent completion.

A more detailed programme of our meetings plus the various events scheduled to take place during the course of the week is available online, which I hope will similarly meet your expectations.

As a final but important point, the FIA Prize Giving which will conclude the week will take place on the Friday 8 December, in the Château de Versailles, exclusively privatised for the FIA. The evening will again provide the prestigious occasion to honour the FIA Champions who have excelled themselves during our various FIA Championships throughout this 2017 season.

Unlike in previous years, the event will be split in two parts. Part I of the evening will offer FIA delegates and guests an exclusive visit of the historic Royal Apartments followed by the Gala Dinner, which will take place in the magnificient Galerie des Batailles. This part of the evening will conclude at 21:30.

Part II of the FIA Prize Giving evening and official awards ceremony will then follow in the historic and elegant Opéral Royal also located within the Château. The evening and ceremony is envisaged to conclude at midnight.

Due to strict limited space in the venue of the FIA Prize Giving this year, for Part II of the evening, we have no choice but to manage participation numbers accordingly. Therefore for any additional members per club also wishing to attend Part II of the evening, they will be able to watch it live broadcast in a separate room.

Our teams naturally remain at your disposal should you have any questions.

With best wishes,

Yours sincerely,

Jeant Todt
FIA President
